I thank my God whenever I think of You!
Dear St. Max Families,
Here we are at the end of a busy 2015-16 school year! I am deeply grateful to all the members of our special St. Maximilian Kolbe School Community for your generous gifts of time, talent and treasure.
Thank you to our parents, our partners in providing a faith-filled, high quality education for your children. Through your commitment to our school you are witnesses to and models of your Faith for your children.
Thank you to the Home & School and the many volunteers for your service. You gave hours of your time. You organized and energized this year’s numerous events, activities and programs. You mobilized the man power and supplied the elbow grease.
Thank you to our faculty and staff. You are exceptional in every way. You offered knowledge, expertise, high standards, dedication and enthusiasm to each child every day. I am honored to be your colleague.
Thank you to Monsignor Carroll, Father Capizzi, and Mrs. Dainton for your part in our students’ Faith formation. You helped our children grow in Faith through prayer, sacraments, liturgies and devotions throughout the year.
As we end this year, we say farewell to several members of our St. Max family. Ms. Kathleen Vondran, our esteemed 8th grade teacher; Mrs. Saunders, our original, one and only cafeteria manager and her assistant, Mrs. Verna, Mrs. Debbie Pollart, our pre k aide; Mrs. Kim Mancini, our 5th grade math and science teacher, and Father Capizzi, our parochial vicar. The path bends in a new direction for them. We wish them Godspeed. They will be missed.
In closing I offer some suggestions to our parents: rest, relax and renew. It will be September before you know it.
And to our children, some instructions: remember to say your prayers each day, and to attend Sunday mass and be helpful whenever you can. Read. Work on your math skills (Summer Solutions), learn something new. Have fun!
Thank you for everything. I wish you a wonderful summer
