Room 100 Newsletter
Week of March 13, 2016
This week we continue to learn about Saint Patrick and the holiday named for him as well as our lessons on the lenten season.. The children are so engaged with the Stations of the Cross and love listening to bible stories about Jesus.
We have yet to catch our leprechaun! Our trap has been set and reset! We have fed him Lucky Charms, Skittles and jelly beans! He continues to leave a mess of green and gold glitter around the classroom and also confetti! We’ll continue to leave the trap out in different areas of the room. We have high hopes of catching him!
The grass seeds we planted are growing! How exciting to watch it grow! We have been watering our seeds, and making sure they get plenty of sunlight. We even put them outside last week with the beautiful weather we had! Some of us talked to our seeds and even sang!
The play ground equipment that was located up by the Saint Max football field has been relocated to the side yard next to our school. The children are eagerly waiting for it to be completed so they can go play on it! It has been reassembled, and cemented into the ground. It needs to be power washed and then much will be delivered. As soon as we get the OK, we will be outside enjoying it! Last week brought such beautiful weather and we were able to get outside to play each day!
