Garden Update

Eighth Grade students will continue maintaining the school garden until the first frost. We are looking for donations of yard waste for the garden. If you have grass clipping and/or leaves from your yard that you would like to donate please bag them and leave them at the garden site . It is important that the grass clipping are dried and the leaves are shredded. This can be done by leaving the clippings on the lawn a day or two before collecting them and mowing the leaves with the lawn mower. Feel free to combine grass and leaves together. These items will help us prepare the garden beds for next year. If your grass and leaves have been treated with herbicides, or chemical fertilizers we are unable to use them. Thanks so much!
