Homework

First of all, repetition/practice is the key to success. It is so very
important to get into a homework routine as soon as possible and "stick to
it". Try to begin homework with your least favorite subject and an
environment suited for learning/focusing. Please read over all notes even if
they are not assigned. Hint: there will be quizzes, hopefully, announced
quizzes.
You will receive homework each night and all assignments are to be
completed on time, in a very organized and neat fashion. The homework
grade you will receive the first day of school is 100%. Let's keep it
at 100%. Each assignment not turned in within the allotted time will result
in the loss of five points.
Assessments in Social Studies need to be signed.

If you are absent, assignments will be recorded and sent home with
a sibling/friend and recorded on the teacher's homework web page. In the
event that the assignments do not get home it is
the responsibility of the student to find out what he/she missed on the day
of his/her return. The student will have 24 hours to complete assignments.
Of course, if there's a situation that needs extra time or
consideration, please contact me either by phone,note, or *e-mail and I will
most definitely work with you. This does not need to be a stressful
situation. I will also be available to sit with you and go over any
confusing items at recess, during class, or after school. No problem! Just
ask and you will receive.

1. I am a stickler when it comes to penmanship and organization.

2. PLEASE CHECK TEACHER WEB PAGE ENTITLED 'HOMEWORK'. EACH NIGHT YOUR
HOMEWORK WILL BE RECORDED IN CASE OF ABSENCE.

3. Parents- PLEASE CHECK OptionC FOR HOMEWORK GRADE, TEST SCORES, AND TEACHER
NOTES.
