St. Maximilian Kolbe School has a nurse in the building every day to assist students, faculty, and parents.
The nurse's office is managed by a Certified School Nurse, Michelle Cassidy, CSN. The nurses available in the school nurse's office are:
Monday: Parish nurse, AnneMarie Reilly, LPN
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: WCASD nurse, Karyn Heym, RN
Friday: WCASD nurse, Laurie Hopton, RN

Required Absence From School
When your child is ill, it is important to keep them home until:
They are fever-free (below 100 degrees) for 24 hours without the use of a fever-reducing medication (Tylenol, Ibuprofen, etc.)
They have not had vomiting and/or diarrhea for 24 hours.
They have been on an antibiotic, if prescribed, for 24 hours or until cleared for school by a physician.
